SMB/SMC Connectors Feature Robust Construction


A new series of SMB and SMC coaxial connectors that meet MIL-PRF-39012 interface specifications and MIL-STD-202 environmental standards is being introduced by Tru-Connector Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.

Tru-Connector SMB/SMC Series Subminiature Coaxial Connectors are precision machined from brass, gold plated to resist corrosion, have beryllium-copper female contacts, and Teflon® insulators. Available in threaded mate and snap-on styles, these robust 50 Ohm coaxial connectors meet MIL-PRF-39012 interface specifications and MIL-STD-202 environmental standards.

Providing a service life of 500 matings, Tru-Connector SMB/SMC Series Subminiature Coaxial Connectors are rated for 750 VRMS dielectric withstanding voltage and operating temperatures from -65°C to +165°C. The frequency range of the SMB series is 0 - 4 GHz and the SMC series is 0 - 10 GHz.
