The systems can be customized for specific applications, such as emergency power, temporary lighting, electrical machinery and controls. FMRC approval requirements were developed as part of this testing program with review stages by Duraline and two firefighting companies. For the applications intended, Fire Power Systems' component materials meet or exceed the highest standards and specifications, as well as applicable NEC and OSHA safety standards and regulations. When fully mated, Duraline's Fire Power Systems are water-tight and can block the intake of water when submerged in up to six feet of water. They also prevent water from reaching electrical contact areas when subjected to high water pressure.
