Elgin, IL - HARTING, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the new Han-Compact connector. The Han-Compact provides a high amperage, space-saving connection. The new hood and housing solution accepts any of the single-space Han-Modular® power or
signal inserts without the use of a frame, making it one of our most versatile connector solutions. High amperage connections (up to 60A per contact) can be made in a much smaller footprint than traditional circular connectors. Nickel-plated die cast zinc
construction provides rugged IP65 protection. Applications include rack-mounted Power Distribution Units (PDU's) requiring 30A and higher, conveyors and drives, and any application requiring high amperage connections.
