MEMPHIS, Tenn. - April 28, 2005 - Thomas & Betts Color-Keyed? Soft Shell H-Tap and C-Tap Connector Covers for telecommunications applications are now more size-efficient and easier to install. The new smaller design saves space in the enclosure or vault and is easier to store and carry to the job site. In addition, the redesigned Connector Covers feature a new easy latch mechanism for optimum installation. Integral flash barriers protect against electrical flashovers and 105?C rating provides maximum performance.

Thomas & Betts Color-Keyed Soft Shell H-Tap and C-Tap Connector Covers are constructed from high-impact polypropylene for long-lasting protection. They also are available in clear (with internal identification pocket), impact-resistant and flame-retardant polycarbonate (UL94 V-0). Each connector type is available in five configurations.
