New Field Termination USB Connector and Shielded USB Coupler from L-com
North Andover, MA - July 23, 2009 - L-com, a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products today announced the release of two new USB products.
The USBAFT is a unique field terminate USB Type A connector that is deigned to be used in the field for quick and easy terminations. Separate connection points are provided for all four positions of the connector plus the ground. Terminal block design with set screws provides reliable electrical connections utilizing no special tools. The terminal block area is clearly marked making proper termination virtually foolproof. L-com's UADKEY-AB shielded USB keystone coupler can be easily installed into panels, wall plate openings and enclosures. The UADKEY-AB features a USB A female connector on the front and USB B female connector on the back of the coupler housing. The stamped metal shell and one piece design provides maximum protection from data corrupting EMI/RFI.
