Milwaukee, WI (October 01, 2006) - To better meet the evolving demands of the shrink wrapping industry, Conflex Incorporated has recently introduced modular versions of the popular CW and ServoFlex series machines. Modularity is becoming increasingly important within the packaging industry and the CW Modular and ServoFlex Modular series machines help packaging professionals better integrate shrink wrapping equipment within existing or new manufacturing systems. The CW Modular and ServoFlex series wrapping modules can be paired with either Conflex 5' or 10' in-feeds or any other in-feed systems such as Streamfeeder or Shuttleworth to create an unprecedented number of shrink packaging systems.
The CW and ServoFlex Series of horizontal form fill seal shrink wrappers are a range of shrink wrappers offering different size ranges and speed capabilities. The two Series of machines have been a cornerstone of the Conflex machinery line for the last 12 years, so it was a challenge to improve upon a good thing. The introduction of the new modular platform, has opened many opportunities to gain efficiencies in assembly, lessen lead times, gain flexibility, improve integration and footprint and alliance build with manufacturers of system that operate before and after the wrapper.
