Inverter Configurator Software From Omron Increases Ease Of Use Of Omron Inverters
SCHAUMBURG, IL (April 8, 2002) -The new Configurator family of AC inverter support software from Omron allows a user to program the drive using visual setup diagrams. This easy point and click method can store parameter sets in the case that a drive goes down. Standard software features for the Configurator software include parameter upload and download, on-board oscilloscope functions, and printable or savable parameter sets, which allow the user to monitor what the drive is doing. The SYSDRIVE Configurator software also allows remote modem access between two PC-drive connections. Therefore, if both users have the connection, they can remotely dial in to look at the software, eliminating the need to e-mail. SYSDRIVE Configurator software also features an automatic drive detection feature that scans the drive at hookup.
Three separate software products make up the Configurator line. The P5+ Configurator software is designed for use with Omron P5 and P5+ AC inverters. The G5+ Configurator software is used with the Omron G5, G5+, and G5M products. The SYSDRIVE Configurator software is for the Omron 3G3JV and 3G3MV product lines. All of the Configurator products are available as a stand-alone CD, or with an inverter connection cable. A three-pack software bundle with connection cables is available.
