Roxtec Designs New Lightweight CES Conduit Seal(TM) for Harsh Telecom Environments



The new Roxtec CES Conduit Seal™ is an ideal fit for the telecom industry because of its lightweight and easy-to- install attributes.  The new seal eliminates the problem of water entering the conduits causing damage to the system, fiber coax and power cables, especially during freezing temperatures. The new Conduit Seal™ eliminates the need for silicones, butyl and other sealing masses, that will fail in a short time, thereby saving installation time and reducing overall cost.



UL/NEMA 3 and IP 55 approved, the Roxtec CES Conduit Seal™ is supplied as a kit, including two stainless steel clamps and Roxtec sealing modules that are adaptable to cables of different sizes. This feature simplifies everything from design and planning through to purchasing, installation and logistics.



The Roxtec CES Conduit Seal™ for conduits is a lightweight cable entry and sealing solution developed to protect fiber and coax inside of conduit from water and rodents. It is quick and easy to install, and it allows the use of pre-terminated cables. It can also be installed on existing sites without disconnecting cables with the retrofit feature. The product seals the conduit in one end and the fiber bundle in the other, eliminating the frequent risk of damage due to humidity, ice, rodents.
