Conductivity Sensors have electrodeless design.

Press Release Summary:

Model 3700E-Series eliminates polarization and electrode coating problems that commonly affect contacting, electrode-type conductivity sensors. Only one wetted material contacts process media. Body materials are polypropylene, PVDF, PEEK(R), or PFA Teflon(R). Sensors are available in convertible or sanitary mounting styles. They can measure solutions with conductivity as high as 2,000,000 microSiemens/cm and temperature range between 0 and 200 deg C.

GLI Model 3700E-series Electrodeless Conductivity Sensors

The GLI International Model 3700E-series Electrodeless Conductivity Sensors use an innovative measurement technology that offers many advantages over conventional contacting conductivity sensor technology. The electrodeless sensor design eliminates polarization and electrode coating problems that commonly affect conventional contacting electrode-type conductivity sensors.

Chemical compatibility concerns for these rugged, non-fouling sensors are simplified because only one wetted material contacts the process media. Body materials are polypropylene, PVDF, PEEK®, or PFA Teflon®. These sensors, available in convertible or sanitary mounting styles, can measure solutions with conductivity as high as 2,000,000 microSiemens/cm and a temperature range between 0°C and 200°C.
