Conductive Ink suits plated through hole applications.

Press Release Summary:

Type 122-22 screen printable, electrically conductive ink and coating maintains stable viscosity during all application methods and has low odor. It adheres to FR2, FR3, and FR4, printed circuit board substrates, as well as Kapton, Mylar, and glass. Product is resistant to abrasion, scratching, and thermal aging. It can be cured for 30 min at 70°C followed by post cure of 30 min at 160°C. Ink is suitable for electroless plating and EMI/RFI shielding of polyimide circuits.

Original Press Release:

Conductive Ink for Plated Through Holes 122-22

DESCRIPTION:
CMI's 122-22 is a screen printable, electrically conductive ink and coating which is particularly useful for plated through hole applications. This system is designed to maintain stable viscosity during all application methods and has a low odor. The product features excellent adhesion to FR2, FR3, and FR4, printed circuit board substrates, as well as Kapton, Mylar, glass and a variety of other substrates.

APPLICATIONS:
Some applications for 122-22 include, but are not limited to:
o Plated through hole applications
o Electroless plating
o EMI/RFI shielding of polyimide flexible circuits

STRENGTHS OF PRODUCT:

122-22 is easy to use: 122-22 is ready to use as supplied.
Further thinning may be accomplished by adding small amounts of CMI thinner #113-12.

122-22 is effective: 122-22 is designed to maintain stable
viscosity during all applications methods.

122-22 is practical: 122-22 can be cured for 30 minutes at
