Computer Cart Built for Industrial Computing
FRANKLIN, MA - JACO Inc. announces the addition of a new cart to its successful J-Mobility(TM) line of computer platforms. The SL(TM) (slimline) Industrial Cart is designed specifically for factory computer use. It incorporates dramatic advances in the ergonomics of cart design and manufacturing. A new 7° angled post and 5° angled handle design brings the work surface closer to the operator and allows for a more natural posture and easier height adjustment from 29" to 39". The large work surface accommodates a wide range of monitors and when used with a flat panel display provides a generous work surface for paper, notebooks, etc.
The keyboard tray is retractable, and features a bi-directional mouse tray for left or right hand mouse placement. Portability is achieved through the use of 5 1/4" rubber casters that roll smoothly over any surface.
SL Carts are available with a variety of options and accessories including a cable management system which organizes and hides power and signal cables. An optional locking laptop work surface securely locks the laptop to the cart, protects it against minor spills, provides a work surface for notebooks, binders etc. and provides enough space for a single flat lithium ion rechargeable battery to be mounted under the laptop if desired. An additional "battery caddy" holds up to two more flat batteries. Monitors can be custom mounted using an optional VESA mount or they can have provisions to be hard mounted at the factory using the manufacturers supplied monitor base.
SL Carts are constructed of high quality welded steel and aluminum. They feature a powder coated finish which is scratch and spill resistant. All J-Mobility Carts ship fully assembled.
