Bridgeport Fittings Introduces Raintight Compression Connectors and Couplings and PVC Jacketed MC Cable Connectors

STRATFORD, Conn., Nov 18, 2005 -- Bridgeport Fittings introduces Raintight Compression connectors and couplings and PVC jacketed MC connectors and couplings. Both UL listed steel and zinc fittings are completely assembled, with no extra seals to buy, stock or install. Connectors feature a knockout gasket to prevent water seepage into the box. Both connectors and couplings utilize plastic sealing rings that protect water from entering into the conduit, and faster installation with a split type gland ring that prevents the conduit from turning when tightening the hex nut.

The PVC jacketed MC cable connector is available in Zinc die cast and Zinc die cast with insulated throat rated to 90 degrees C.

The new Raintight line of connectors and couplings are UL listed, file numbers E24001 and E202876.
