Nottuln, Germany, - 3S Simons Security Systems GmbH will be presenting its products and industry solutions for legally binding counterfeit protection at Hannover Messe 2012. On the basis of its micro colour codes SECUTAG®, the company has developed solutions for mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and the pharmaceutical sector as well as for end-to-end security covering the entire flow of material and goods. The micro colour code technology has been counterfeit-proof for over 15 years. SECUTAG® unambiguously identifies products as originals and is accepted as evidence by international courts. Micro colour codes safeguard a company's brand and product portfolio and assist the fight against unjustified damage claims. 3S will be showcasing its range of products in Hanover, in hall 7, at the joint booth Product Protection (stand # E48/3), from 23 - 27 April 2012.
End-to-end security for the entire flow of material and goods
Traceability codes, such as RFID or data matrix have established themselves in the area of product traceability. Yet they are not per se counterfeit-proof. SECUDATA® therefore combines the logistic advantages of the different traceability codes with the counterfeit protection of micro colour codes. Both codes are conjointly applicable onto the product, its primary or secondary packaging, labels or closure seals. The traceability system as well as the product can thus be identified as originals. Additionally, counterfeit-proof delivery and freight documents as well as other accompanying documents can be issued. As the colour codes can be precisely applied onto nearly all solid matters, they can be easily integrated into all existing manufacturing processes. Therefore, SECUPRODUCT® is suitable for adequate product protection in all industry sectors, including mechanical and plant engineering as well as automobile and aviation industries.
Protection against counterfeit medicines
Counterfeit drug trade is flourishing worldwide. The findings from 2011 show that falsification of medicines affects all product types, be they generic or innovator, including antibiotics, antidepressants, lifestyle drugs and skin care products. This also means that counterfeit-proof product labelling is of great importance, in particular in the pharmaceutical sector.
