The embedded industrial market now has a CompactPCI board that offers full high-quality graphics display capabilities. Addressing the needs of the next generation industrial market, the ICP-MMEDIA - with its integrated MPEG-2 hardware decoding, optional CAN controller piggyback, and rich feature set - is able
to control video displays with resolutions up to 2048x1536 pixels.
The ICP-MMEDIA is equipped with GigaSTAR technology from Inova Semiconductors and is the only multimedia controller on the market able to address an almost unlimited number of displays without loss of signal over great distance. Utilization of the GigaSTAR piggyback allows the SBC to connect to flat panel
displays at distances up to 90 meters over twister pair copper wire, thus making the ICP-MMEDIA perfectly suited for use in remote display applications, such as infotainment.
