Bustronic Announces Easycable CompactPCI Backplanes Designed For Wiring Convenience

FREMONT, California, April 13, 2005 - Bustronic Corporation has announced the EasyCable line of CompactPCI backplanes. The backplanes are designed for easy and convenient cabling and come in a wide range of sizes and configurations.

The EasyCable cPCI backplanes come in 3U and 6U cPCI and 6U H.110 for Computer Telephony versions in various slot sizes. They have power nuts along the side of the backplane for +5V, +3.3V, V I/O, and GND.

The location and grouping of the power nuts saves time and effort in cable assembly. There are also faston blades for quick plugging for +12V and -12V. Further, the 6U versions have an ATX connector for optional direct plugging.

All Bustronic cPCI backplanes incorporate computer-simulated stripline design for high performance. With optimal power dispersion and distributed high and low frequency decoupling capacitors, the CompactPCI backplanes deliver virtually zero crosstalk. The cPCI backplanes conform to the latest PICMG specifications.

Bustronic also offers CompactPCI backplanes in EasyPlug, Low Profile, 32-bit, and PICMG 2.16-compliant versions. For the EasyCable cPCI datasheet, visit http://www.bustronic.com/pdf/EasyCable_cPCI.pdf.
