Introducing The New John Deere Gator(TM) Compact Series Utility Vehicle
John Deere offers its customers two new solutions for their hauling and transportation needs with the introduction of the Gator(TM) Compact Series utility vehicles. Performance vehicles at heart, the Gator Compact Series was created with the homeowner in mind - easy to maneuver and easy to store while maintaining the tough performance standards of the Gator family.
The Gator CS, a 249cc (8-hp) version, and the Gator CX, a 286cc (10-hp) version, offer affordability, a compact footprint and the visual appeal associated with the John Deere brand. These new models turn in tighter places, fit in narrower spaces, and can even be transported in the bed of a pickup truck. Along with higher engine power, the Gator CX also has a 12V DC outlet, high-back bucket seats and a differential lock as standard features.
An adaptable cargo box and excellent hauling capabilities make these products the ideal choice for assisting homeowners around their properties. The cargo box features a durable, high-density polyethylene construction and holds up to 400 lbs. with a 5-cubic-foot storage capacity. The tailgate can be opened or removed for easier cleaning or to carry longer items.
The CS and CX models are both equipped with air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-cycle Kawasaki gasoline engines. A precision-engineered drivetrain system fully utilizes engine
