Compact, Environmentally-Sealed Power Supplies Feature DIN Rail Mountability



Waterloo, ON, June 2005 - Transera Electronics is introducing a new line of compact power supplies to the North American market. With DC outputs of 12V or 24V and current capacities ranging from 350 mA to 2000 mA, these modular power supplies are well suited to appliances, portable electrical equipment, HVAC systems, or situations where tough, reliable, self-contained power supplies are needed. These devices are fully encapsulated in epoxy with Transera's special vacuum-potting process to ensure that they are highly resistant to shock, vibration and moisture and have superior insulation reliability. Some versions of these power supplies are built with flanges for mounting on the popular DIN rail system and come with generous (1 meter long) connecting cables - features that make them especially easy to install in electrical cabinets and control panels.
