Streamlight® Introduces Key-Mate® Flashlight
New Light is Smallest, Brightest LED Flashlight Available
EAGLEVILLE, PA (February 13, 2003) ---- Streamlight, Inc., a flashlight manufacturer for professional and consumer applications, introduces the Key-Mate®, a lightweight, compact LED flashlight with an integrated key chain attachment.
According to Streamlight President Brad Penney, the Key-Mate delivers a level of power that is unmatched by other LED flashlights of similar size and weight. "Our new Key-Mate is the world's smallest, brightest one-ounce LED flashlight," Penney stated. "It's equipped with reflector optics that enhance its brightness to delivers up to 400% more lighting range than a penlight."
The Key-Mate features a high-intensity LED, available in white, blue or green, that lasts up to 100,000 hours. Four high-capacity alkaline button cells enable the light to run longer - up to 96 hours - and stay brighter than any other button cell keychain LED light.
An integrated snap-hook with swivel allows the Key-Mate to be quickly attached/detached from a key ring, zipper pull, backpack or belt loop. The light can also be worn around the neck using the included breakaway lanyard. Additionally, its powder-coated spring steel pocket clip allows the Key-Mate to be clipped to just about anything. "To prevent the light from being turned on accidentally, the Key-Mate operates through a rotary head switch," Penney continued.
