FREMONT, Calif., - Jan. 31, 2003 - Arista Corporation, a leading industrial PC solutions provider and system integrator, today announced the ARP-1615 Cougar Series Panel PC is now available. Designed as a fully functional, compact industrial PC, the panel PC supports both an Intel(r) Pentium(r) III and Celeron(r) processor for reliable and high-powered performance to tackle the most intensive applications.
The ARP-1615 Cougar Series is a modular, PC-based computer ideal for automation applications when the installation space is critical. The panel PC features a 15" (1024 x 768) XGA color TFT LCD display with a touch screen enhancement for optimal user interface within machine control or plant floor applications. The panel PC is equipped with up to 512 MB of SDRAM, a slim FDD, a 2.5" hard drive, CD-ROM and an integrated Realtek 10/100 Base-T Ethernet controller. In addition, the flat panel PC comes equipped with two parallel ports, two PS/2 interfaces, dual USB and three RS-232 ports.
The flat panel display is NEMA 4/12 and IP65 compliant and is equipped with sealed, protective aluminum front bezels, and heavy-duty steel chassis, which meets the toughest industrial and environmental standards. In addition, the ARP-1615 is VESA compliant and provides flexibility in installation solutions. The PC can be mounted on a wall to seal out the environment, desk or swivel arm mount, whatever the installation requires.
