Avalue's New Generation Mini-Size Dual-Core Industrial Computer, EPC-945
Taipei, Taiwan - Avalue's new generation mini PC EPC-945 is suitable for variety of spaces installation with its compact appearance. Embedded with an Avalue's 3.5 inch single board computer (SBC), EPC-945 adopts Intel® dual-core processors and 945GME chipset technology, equipped with capabilities of both low power and high reliability. Its excellent expandability satisfies various environmental requirements asked from customers.

Following the development of Avalue's EPC series product line, EPC-945 expresses compact style, just sized in 178mm x 142mm x 50mm. This features more flexibility at versatile spaces and applications. Besides, the size of EPC series fits in standard vehicle specification, 1 DINN, to be easily embedded into a car becoming a full-functional car computer by removing external aluminum case.

Adopted Avalue's 3.5 inch single board computer module, an EPC-945 is optimized by Intel® dual-core processors, and supports up to 2GB DDR2 memory. It provides with benefits to customers, such as low costs, low power consumption, low temperature, low break down rate, high performance and reliability of transmission speed, etc. Therefore, EPC-945 is used in wide range of embedded mini PC applications, like interactive clients, gaming platforms, and industrial automation equipments.

The 945GME chipset integrates 3D graphics engine, GMA950 architecture; supports high resolution up to 2048 x 1536. EPC-945 also supports dual independent displays configuration, CRT + LVDS. ICH7-M delivers outstanding system performance through high-bandwidth interfaces. Three sets of USB, one set of Compact Flash, one set of Mini PCI and video output interfaces; keyboard/mouse and microphone audio input interfaces; two sets of gigabit high-speed LAN present the excellent operating platform for a variety of multimedia and communication applications.
