New P-III Compact Board: PCM-6894
AAEON's latest Compact Board PCM-6894 is an advanced P-III level 5.25" Disk Size solution. Supporting the Intel® Tualatin Processors, this board targets high-end multimedia and networking markets. This board will amaze system integrators by its superior functionality with realistic pricing.
Utilizing the VIA VT82C694T/82C686B chipset, the PCM-6894 optimizes the performance of Intel® Tualatin/Pentium® III/Celeron® processors running at 66/100/133 FSB speeds. This board supports Ultra DMA/100 mode with a data transfer rate up to 100MB/sec to accelerate data access from IDE storage devices. Combined with the onboard ALC201 codec, the PCM-6894 provides a cost-effective solution for delivering high-quality audio capabilities. Up to 2 USB ports supported through an onboard pin header enables scalable peripheral connectivity. Hardware status monitoring and advanced power management functions deliver add-on value to users.
The SMI Lynx3DM SM722 display controller with built-in 4MB SGRAM features a 128-bit performance 2D/3D mobile graphics engine. The PCM-6894 utilizes this mobile 3D controller to support popular display modes including CRT, up to 24-bit TTL/LVDS TFT LCD and TV-output (NTSC/PAL compliant). A 24-bit LVDS interface provides large-size display capability suitable for multimedia presentation. The PCM-6894 is compatible with many popular OS including Windows 9x series, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT4.0, Windows XP and RedHat Linux 7.2.
The PCM-6894 includes four high-speed serial ports (three RS-232, one RS-232/422/485), one multimode (ECP/EPP/SPP) parallel port, two USB ports, supports four IDE devices and two floppy drives, a keyboard/PS/2 mouse interface and IrDA interface. There are AT or ATX power supply input board versions to suit whatever your application needs. An onboard PCI-slot and a PC/104 connector offer wide expansion possibilities using add-on modules. Onboard dual Realtek RTL 8139C 10/100 Base-T fast Ethernet controllers and two RJ-45 connectors provide instant and high-speed access to Internet.
