Compact Angle Sensor has return spring and 26 mm housing profile.

Press Release Summary:

Supplied in plastic housing and sealed to IP67 with mounting o-ring, SP1600 Series converts rotational angle into voltage output. Return spring compresses in CW direction and decompresses in CCW. Along with integrated 3-pin AMP Tyco Micro Quadlock connector, features include -30 to +120°C operating range, defined electrical angles of 120° and 105° on separate models, nominal resistance of 5 kΩ, linearity of ±2% of supply voltage, and life expectancy of ≥4 million movements.

New Angle Sensor with Return Spring

Southborough, MA – Novotechnik, U.S. introduces the SP1600 Series of compact angle sensors. Housing profile to connector is 26 mm. These sensors convert rotational angle into a voltage output and feature a return spring that compresses in the CW direction and decompresses in CCW.

SP1600 Series sensors have an integrated 3-pin AMP Tyco Micro Quadlock connector and the housing is made of high-grade temperature resistant plastic. Temperature range is -30 to +120°C.

Other key SP1600 Series specifications include a defined electrical angles of 120° and 105° on separate models, nominal resistance of 5 kΩ and linearity of ±2 % of supply voltage. The sensors are sealed to IP 67 with mounting o-ring and life is ≥ 4 million movements.

These sensors are ideal for automotive and off-highway vehicle and other harsh environment applications and a direct replacement for most CTS 500 sensor models.
