Compact, Rugged Airmover for High Reliability Cooling of Electronic Communications Gear

AMETEK/Rotron MP435 provides simultaneous axial and radial airflow

A rugged axial and radial flow airmover from AMETEK/Rotron provides high reliability cooling of electronic components in aircraft, shipboard and ground-based installations. The MP435 meets the compact space and durability requirements of aviation, imaging and portable communication applications. It measures only 119 x 119 x 38.9 mm and weighs only 0.45 kg.

Designed for dependable cooling of avionics and other communications equipment, its true airfoil blade design achieves higher aerodynamic performance and efficiency than other fans of similar size. It operates in a plenum, providing simultaneous axial and radial airflow.

The MP435's rugged construction features all-aluminum components finished with a chemical conversion coating and corrosion-resistant stainless steel shaft and hardware. All Rotron fans are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-B-23071 and are available with a wide range of AC and DC power inputs and fan status outputs.

Design engineers can use the company's new dynamically searchable web site (www.rotron.com) to locate products with the best functionality for their applications from thousands of items in more than 25 product lines.

AMETEK/Rotron is a world leader in brushless DC motors, blowers and pumps for aerospace military, mass-transit, medical and computer applications. It is a unit of AMETEK, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with annual sales of US$3 billion.
