• Wisconsin-based credit union renews DataSafe account processing platform, adds solutions for online banking, mobile banking and bill delivery and payments
• Long-term Fiserv client seeks to offer additional personalized financial services to members and increased commercial offerings to businesses
• DataSafe is a proven and scalable account processing solution for credit unions
Brookfield, Wis. -- Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that Community First Credit Union, headquartered in Appleton, Wis., has renewed and expanded its relationship with Fiserv. The $1.7 billion credit union is a longtime user of DataSafe® account processing platform from Fiserv and has added Fiserv solutions for digital channels including Virtuoso™ for online banking, CheckFree® RXP® for bill delivery and payments and Mobiliti™ for mobile banking.
Serving over 100,000 members at 27 locations, Community First selected Fiserv due to the scalability and reliability of DataSafe to grow with the institution, including capabilities to expand commercial solutions for the credit union's business members with customized reporting and ACH origination. The ability to add tightly integrated consumer online banking, bill pay and mobile solutions from Fiserv was also a strong factor in the decision.
"Community First was established in 1975 to improve the quality of our members' lives by providing them with high quality, competitive financial products and services that anticipate and exceed their needs," said Cathie Tierney, president and Chief Executive Officer, Community First Credit Union. "Fiserv continues to make a strong commitment to develop and invest in technology for the credit union industry, and our decision to continue and expand our partnership with Fiserv will be an important component of our future growth in providing financial services to the consumers and businesses in our region.
" DataSafe offers credit unions scalable, integrated account processing technology with flexible deployment options. The database within the platform offers a full view of member information across the enterprise. Community First uses Virtuoso from Fiserv to provide a highly personalized home banking experience that is cost effective and easy for the credit union to manage and customize. Meanwhile, through the capabilities of CheckFree RXP and Mobiliti from Fiserv, members will have mobile banking capabilities such as account balance access, an ATM locator and alerts, as well as the addition of payment capabilities. The Mobiliti mobile banking service integrates with the credit union's CheckFree RXP bill payment service, making it possible for customers to securely pay bills through their mobile device.
"For over twenty years, Community First has partnered with Fiserv to provide innovative, integrated financial services to its members," said Mark Sievewright, division president, Credit Union Solutions, Fiserv. "As part of the more than 3,000 credit unions that Fiserv serves, Community First will have the ability to provide its members the high degree of flexibility and personalization for their banking experience that consumers everywhere have come to expect. Fiserv will continue to provide leading-edge products and services that help credit unions best serve their members."
