Communications Platform Enables Enterprise Customers to Seamlessly Leverage Advanced Presence, Collaboration and Mobility Tools; Next Generation Architecture and Comprehensive Features Drive Value and Efficiency
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 14 / -- Inter-Tel, Incorporated (NASDAQ:INTL), a leading provider of voice and data communications solutions for businesses, has unveiled its next generation enterprise communications platform-the Inter-Tel(R) 7000-at the Spring VON Expo. The Inter-Tel 7000 will be on display throughout the show, which is scheduled to conclude on March 17 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA. The Inter-Tel exhibit is in booth #1242.
Scheduled for release in mid-2006, the Inter-Tel 7000 is a pure IP, standards-based communications system that is designed to serve enterprises with up to 2,500 users. The system features a visionary, next-generation architecture that is expected to address business needs both today and in the future. As a software-switch platform, the Inter-Tel 7000 is built with the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) standard at the core of the product. The Inter-Tel 7000 system has tenanting capabilities, and provides a wide-range of advanced features and functionality, including embedded presence management capabilities, multi-media devices and applications, and mobility solutions that have the capability to enhance business performance and productivity, such as increasing revenue, streamlining operations, enhancing customer service and controlling costs.
