Use Compact I/O to connect to Allen-Bradley Remote I/O
September 2002, Waterloo, Canada. Woodhead Connectivity proudly announces the release of its Allen-Bradley® Remote I/O Communication Adapter for use with Allen-Bradley® CompactT(TM) I/O (part number SST-RIO-CIO).
This SST Remote I/O adapter allows you to connect your 1769 Allen-Bradley® Compact I/O(TM) to an Allen-Bradley® Remote I/O network.
Features include: 1) Automatic mapping of I/O module data; 2) Support for up to 30 I/O Modules in a system; 3) Separate LED indicators to provide system, network, I/O, and diagnostic status; 4) User configurable baud rate, including auto baud; 5) User configurable starting rack and quarter; 6) Processor Lockout option to prevent reconnection after loss of communication; and 7) Packed I/O option to reduce network footprint to minimum number of quarters.
The SST Allen-Bradley® Remote I/O Adapter for Compact I/O(TM) is referenced in the Rockwell Automation Encompass(TM) program.
