Original Press Release:
Common Mode Filters For Power Applications
Simni Valley, Ca. - April 18,2002- New from Frontier Electronics are its CSF Series of common mode filters, specially designed for power applications.
- No gap "H' ferrite cores - Continuous Inductance & SRF Flow - Four sizes with vertical or horizontal core mounting with industry standard footprints are available.
- Inductance values 1 mH to 120 mH - Max. DC rurrents .3 amps to 4.5 amps.
The new filters feature ungapped "H" ferrite cores with split-section bobbins that have been tightly wound using a highly sophisticated automated winding process. This insures constant leakage inductance and SRFs. Dielectric withstanding voltage is 1.5KV and temperature rise at maximum current is 45 degrees C.
