New Column for Proteomics


Polymer Laboratories has launched a new column for peptide and protein separations, PLRP-S 3µm. The introduction of a 3µm particle size column in 100Ã… and 300Ã… pore sizes extends PL's range of highly successful polymeric reversed phase materials. The commercialization of this media extends the product portfolio into the proteomics application area.

This PLRP-S 3µm media is available packed in short columns for rapid resolution LC/MS, where complete chromatographic resolution is not required, as the MS is used to provide the detailed information.

Longer columns in 2.1 and 1.0mm ID are also available for higher resolution separations with increased sensitivity.

PLRP-S 100Ã… 3µm columns are ideal for peptide separations, with the larger pore size PLRP-S 300Ã… 3µm being recommended for protein analysis. Both materials possess extreme physical and chemical stability, pH 1-14, making them the ideal choice for single column chromatography at acidic, neutral and basic pH.
