Larson Electronics Releases a 12 Watt Colored LED Light Emitter

Kemp, Texas – Industrial lighting specialist Larson Electronics has announced the release of a 12 watt LED light emitter that produces an optional red, blue, amber, green, or white color output and offers extreme durability combined with versatile mounting and power options.

The LEDLB-4C colored LED light emitter from Larson Electronics produces a 90’ long by 70’ wide light beam with 720 lumens of bright light. Four Edison Edixeon Emitters containing CREE EZBright three watt colored LEDs producing 180 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with high purity 10° optics to produce a tightly focused spot beam with limited spread. These LED light bars are IP68 rated and waterproof to three meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. The lights are constructed of extruded aluminum and feature a heavy housing, rubber isolated mounts, and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability against vibrations, impacts, waves, hard rains, sand, and high winds. This light can run on any voltage from 9 to 42 volts and provides an extremely rugged lighting solution that is ideal for use in commercial marine environments as well as industrial and manufacturing applications. The light output of this LED light emitter is offered in red, blue, amber, green, and white. This light emitter is equipped aluminum mounting blocks which slide within the aluminum housing to allow users to adjust their positioning to match existing or user drilled holes. Each aluminum mounting block has an integrated rubber bushing to absorb vibration and shock. To secure the light, operators slide the mounting bolts through the aluminum mounting block and rubber isolator, through the mounting surface, and then secure the bolt with a locking nut on the opposite side of the mounting surface.

“These new colored LED light emitters provide an attractive appearance for boat manufacturers across the world,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “The low amp draw and power requirement of this emitter is ideal for small equipment, ATVs, and boats where banks of batteries without significant alternator support are the sole source of power.”
