PD12 Series Colour Sensors
The PD12 series is our new range of colour sensors. They are available with either a single or with 4 outputs - an output for each colour.
The PD12 has a sensing distance from 2 to 60 mm depending on the type of fibre used. The setup is simple. Put an object in front of the sensor and push the Teach button. The sensor automatically sets itself up to detect only that colour. To prevent false outputs at colour boundaries, each output also has a built in timer function.
The PD12 has up to 4 outputs (NPN/PNP) and can be configured for normally open or normally closed operation.
