LX800 Full Color Label/Bar Code Injet Printer
Mountain View, CA ... Fernqvist Labeling Solutions has added the LX800 full color label/bar code inkjet printer to the Fernqvist line of label/bar code printing systems. The LX800 provides high-quality digital four color process printing on label rolls.
The LX800 Printer uses inkjet technology by Lexmark. It allows onsite digital label printing for day-to-day operations in nearly any environment and prints clean color labels as needed with quantities from a few to hundreds per day.
The LX800 prints labels in widths up to 8" on media up to 8.25" wide at a maximum rate of up to 2 inches per second for black, 1.5 inches per second for colors and black and a feed through rate of 10 inches per second. Print resolution is 4800x1200, 2400x1200 or 600x600 dpi.
The LX800 Printer provides 16.7 million colors through Z-Color(TM) Color Matching Software. Standard features include indicator lights Power, Pause and Ink. In addition there are controls of Pause, Feed and Unload and Ink Level Warning. Ink Level Warning calculates the actual number of prints remaining based upon the ink usage of the graphics being printed (Patent Pending).
The LX800 printer cabinet is durable steel. The printer dimensions are 9.00"H x 17.00"W x 15.50"D and weight is 29.00 lbs.
FLS LX800 printing system is available now. The system is $2495 and includes printer, ink (1 cartridge each cmy and black), Nicelabel SE Primera edition by Niceware software (upgradeable to Nicelabel Express or Pro) and Windows XP/2000 printer driver (PC). Also includes a USB cable and a small 4x6 high gloss label roll. Labels on rolls for the LX800 printer are available from Fernqvist in hundreds of sizes in the high gloss, semi-gloss and matte material as well as several film materials, white or clear.
