New Weatherproof, Day/Night CCD Color Camera Announced By Elmo
PLAINVIEW, NY, April 3, 2002 - The new ELMO 1/4" interline transfer CCD color camera offers full 24-hour monitoring, in any kind of weather. Featuring DSP circuitry, the day/night camera comes in a weatherproof housing.
The high resolution QNW4000 offers a true day and night function (IR cut filter re-treatable when darkness prevails) providing sharp, accurate color images in bright scenes, automatically converting to black and white operation at low light levels.
With minimum illumination is 0.5 lux (F1.4) deliver images in near total darkness. Minimum illumination for excellent color is 2.0 lux (F1.4). S/N is an outstanding 48dB; Resolution, a sharp 470 TVL. DSP circuitry minimizes smear, enhancing image sharpness. It also increases stability and reliability. The QNW-4000 is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
A high quality built-in vari-focal auto iris lens has 2.8 to 5.8mm focal lengths. Back-light and white balance controls maintain a high level of performance, even in widely varying light conditions. The camera also has built-in AGC and internal line-lock internal sync. The weatherproof housing conforms to IEC 5229 IPX3 standards. An optional shading cover is available. The camera operates on 24VAC power.
