Racine, WI - January 4, 2006 - Heinrich Company's air-operated 1-AC Air Collet Fixture uses standard 5C collets to hold up to 1-1/8" stock, or through-stock up to 1-7/64". Step-chuck collets and expanding collets can also be used. The double-acting piston type air cylinder develops holding power 18 times airline pressure. Maximum recommended air pressure is 120 psi. A foot switch and hoses can be bought with the fixture.
Two lugs are provided on the unit for ease of mounting. The collet holder is hardened and then precision ground for reliable collet closure. The base is designed to accommodate chip removal and coolant flow. The unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
