BURBANK, Calif. January 17, 2004-To provide quicker and easier changeover between tungsten sizes while improving tungsten centering on TIG applications, Weldcraft introduces its new single piece collet/collet body. The single piece collet/collet body fits all standard, existing torch configurations without requiring any special adapters, adjustments or additional care to achieve proper tungsten alignment. Torch performance using the single piece collet/collet body is of the same high quality as that found with standard two-piece systems.
Simplified Management and Use
Designed with efficiency and ease-of-use in mind, Weldcraft's single piece collet/collet body helps simplify the management of parts by reducing part count as compared to standard two-piece systems. Likewise, users can eliminate the need to maintain or manage spare inventory to replace lost parts. The new single piece design also eliminates mismatch of collets and collet bodies while allowing quicker and easier changeover between tungsten diameters.
