New 35J High Pressure Hydraulic Collet Closer From Lexair, Inc. Has Impressive 3.5 Inch Capacity


LEXINGTON, KY (February 18, 2002) -The new 35J Collet Closer from Lexair, Inc. with an impressive 3.5" capacity - the largest high pressure hydraulic collet closer the company manufactures -is designed tough for machining larger parts.

Operating at a maximum 5,000 psi for heavy-duty clamping in high-pressure applications, the new 35J collet closer's all-steel fixed length design keeps collet and part stable to maintain fixed height from part to part.

Accepting standard 35J collets, the newest addition to Lexair's extensive line of workholding products can be used in multiple configurations using connector bushings to reduce both footprint and hose requirements.

The draw tube force is 1.8 X line pressure and, like all Lexair collet closers, the 35J has precision-bored orientation holes in the base for easy alignment. A collet wrench is included with every unit.
