A2-5 16C Pneumatic Collet Block

The Hardinge® 16C collet block, manufactured in Elmira, New York, will be on display at IMTS in booth A-8000. This handy pneumatic collet block can be mounted on any horizontal or vertical machining center in any production environment, for any tool room application, assembly operation or inspection and surface grinding applications. It accepts all standard 16C round, hexagon, square and special-shape collets, step chucks and Hardinge Sure-Grip® expanding collet systems. 5C tooling can also be used with a simple collet adapter. The collet block is pneumatically actuated with a manually operated valve. The valve assembly is included for direct connection to the shop air supply.

Give your operator more job flexibility using this A2-5 spindle nose for work up to 8" diameter. Hardinge's 16C collet block takes the problem out of holding round and special-shaped parts in milling applications, and is ideal for second operation work. The inherent Dead-Length® design gives precision length control using standard 16C products.

Use them individually mounting directly to the machine table, or group them together on a sub plate to machine multiple parts in one setup. Maximize your machining productivity and decrease your operational costs!
