Pharmaceutical vacuum cleaner manufacturer Nilfisk-Advance America (Malvern, Pa.) will unveil its new Safe-Pak disposable mini-drums at AAPS 2003.

The first collection container of its kind, the Safe-Pak was designed to help manufacturers more safely collect and dispose of pharmaceutical powders, including potent compounds. It integrates with Nilfisk-Advance America's CFM 3156 vacuum cleaner, enabling users to continuously collect ultra-fine powders and other materials, which are then filtered and retained within the containment unit. When the Safe-Pak unit is full, users simply dispose of the unit without opening it, further safeguarding against contamination.
