Cold-Cathode Sensor withstands frequent pressure bursts.

Press Release Summary:

Model 7FC employs double-inverted magnetron technology for wide dynamic vacuum range of 10-2-10-11 torr. Bakeable to 200°C, sensor can be used in any physical orientation. Knife-edge metal seals ensure ultra-high vacuum capability. All wetted materials are 304 stainless and there are no hot filaments to sag and break. Metal-sealed/field cleanable anode subassembly can be maintained without breaking primary vacuum interface.

New Televac 7FC Cleanable Cold Cathode Sensor Offers Patented Double Inverted Magnetron Technology for Wide Dynamic Vacuum Range

Televac/ETI, a leading ISO 9001:2000 manufacturer of UHV measurement sensors, filaments, glass-to-metal seals and feedthroughs, has announced availability of their new 7FC Cleanable Cold Cathode Sensor.

Compact in size for easy replacement of older obsolete sensors, the 7FC features robust construction and can withstand frequent pressure bursts - no hot filaments to sag and break. All wetted materials are 304 stainless and the metal-sealed/field cleanable anode subassembly can be maintained without breaking the primary vacuum interface.

The sensor also employs patented double inverted magnetron technology for a wide dynamic vacuum range of from 1 x 10-2 to 1 x 10-11 Torr. Ten decades of useful range are possible when used with a mating Televac controller. Bakeable to 200°C, the versatile sensor can be used in any physical orientation. Knife edge metal seals ensure reliable ultra high vacuum (UHV) capability.
