COE Press Equipment Announces New 10,000# Coil Reel
Well-suited for heavy coils in narrower widths
Sterling Heights, Mich., - COE Press Equipment has announced the availability of its new 10,000# Series coil reel developed to serve press lines handling heavy coils in widths from 12 - 36" wide. Capable of processing a full range of materials, the new 10,000# Series coil reels fill a gap between small capacity reels and heavy-duty large systems typically aimed at handling coils over 10,000# and diameters up to 72".
The reel can be combined with a traveling coil car to provide a modular, cost effective unwinding solution that can be matched with other COE Press Equipment servo roll feeds and power straighteners to provide full system capability. The new reels can be configured to work in a "pull-off" application with power straighteners and rollforming equipment or provided as motorized "pay-off" reels with the drive mechanism to unwind the coil built into the machine.
Standard features include heavy duty welded construction, three pad mandrel construction, and manual hand crank expansion. Options offered include hydraulic expansion, hydraulic threading drive, and hold-down arms with or without motorized end wheels.
As with all COE equipment, the 10,000# Series of coil reels is backed by COE's comprehensive 3-2-1 Warranty as well as their 24-hour technical service program. For more information, email Jim Ward at email@example.com or visit COE's website at http://cpec.com/coilreels.aspx
