Cogiscan and MIRTEC to Highlight Collaborative Traceability Solution at SMT Hybrid Packaging 2013

BROMONT, CANADA - Cogiscan, the leading track, trace and control (TTC) solution provider for the electronics manufacturing industry, in collaboration with MIRTEC, will be showing a joint traceability solution in distributor pb tec's Booth #7-504 at the SMT Hybrid Packaging exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place April 16-18, 2013 at the Messezentrum in Nuremberg, Germany.
Both companies developed a joint traceability solution in which Cogiscan collects process data from the MIRTEC AOI machines, including pass/fail and defect codes, and consolidates this information in a global traceability report that is part of the Cogiscan factory-wide TTC solution. The benefit of this solution for Mirtec customers is that they can benefit from a complete traceability report for the AOI process and they can also expand this solution with data coming from other machines and processes for a truly global traceability system.
