Elma's New C 08 Switches Feature "Click with a Kick"
FREMONT, California, May 23, 2007 - Elma Electronic, a leading designer and manufacturer of rotary components and electronic packaging products, offers new series C08 switches with a "click with a kick". The coded output switches have a renowned tactile feedback that one can feel when turning the switch. This is a critical feature for changing channels on devices such as mobile radios and medical instruments by
feel, without looking at the selection indicator.
The C08 is a coded output switch, available in Hex or Gray codes (custom codes are also available). A smaller 9mm x 9mm platform offers not only more space for other components, but comes at a reduced price.
The switches are available in both SMD and THT styles. The space-saving switches meet Six Sigma quality standards and is designed work within its original specification and to maintain is original switch torque of 3Ncm even after 10,000 switching cycles.
Fashioned in Elma's long tradition of European quality and reliability, the C08 can be modified to meet the need of customer's specific requirements. Samples are provided upon request.
