Coaxial Tree Relay Modules offer 1 or 4 coaxial trees.

Press Release Summary:

Model SMP6103, with one 1 x 31 Coaxial Tree, and SMP6301, with four 1 x 4 Self-terminated Coaxial Trees, ensure that crosstalk and isolation specifications are maintained by using RF relays with bandwidths that exceed 2 GHz. Offered with low-loss coaxial interconnect cabling, modules are configured to avoid unterminated stub effects. Additionally, modules can be combined with other SMIPII(TM) modules to configure larger high-density switch systems.

Original Press Release:

Addition of High-density Coaxial Relay Modules

Today VXI Technology introduced two new high-density coaxial tree relay modules, further extending their SMIPII(TM) modular switch product offering.

The additions include:
o SMP6103 1x31 Coaxial Tree
o SMP6301 (4) 1x4 Self-terminated Coaxial Trees

These products ensure that excellent crosstalk and isolation specifications are maintained by using RF relays with bandwidths that exceed 2GHz and low-loss coaxial interconnect cabling. The modules are configured to avoid unterminated stub effects, thus improving signal integrity and permitting larger high-frequency multiplexer configurations to be implemented without sacrificing bandwidth and VSWR. Additionally, these modules can be combined with other SMIPII(TM) modules to configure even larger high-density switch systems.

"The SMIPII(TM) modular switch platform now has over 15 coaxial switch modules under 2GHz that, combined with VXI Technology's RF and microwave design experience, continue to make us the selected source for customers' RF switching applications," said Jon Semancik of VXI Technology.

Pricing at $2200 Delivery: Stock to 6 weeks, ARO VXI Technology, Inc. headquartered in Irvine, California, is a global supplier of high-density modular test solutions, based on their award-winning line of modular instruments (VMIP(TM)) and signal switching systems (SMIPII(TM)).
