FEATURE DC TO 40 GHz PERFORMANCE
A new series of high frequency 2.92 mm coaxial connectors that provide high repeatability and are compatible with K, SMA, and 3.5 mm series connectors is being introduced by Tru-Connector Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.
Tru-Connector 2.92 Series Coaxial Connectors are designed for demanding applications at dc to 40 GHz frequencies and -55°C to +125°C temperatures. Featuring type 303 stainless steel bodies which can be passivated or gold plated, and gold plated BeCu contacts, they require only 8 to 10 in-lbs. coupling nut tightening torque and are rated for >500 matings.
Conforming to MIL-STD-202 environmental requirements, Tru-Connector 2.92 Series Coaxial Connectors are ideally suited for wireless military radar and satellite communication applications. Providing 1.40:1 maximum VSWR for a cable assembly with two straight connectors, these 50 Ohm coaxial connectors have a 750 VRMS dielectric withstanding voltage.
