Spectrum Control Introduces Coaxial Ceramic Inductors

Fairview, PA - October 22, 2001 - A full line of coaxial ceramic inductors is now available from Spectrum Control's Signal Products Group. This new low radiation inductor line is designed to reduce EMI and is an ideal inductor below its self-resonant frequency. Spectrum coaxial ceramic inductors are for use as the inductive element of high frequency VCO and LC circuits.

These inductors offer rugged construction and easy installation. Sizes 2-12mm (standard) are available in surface or tab mounting for design flexibility (consult Spectrum Control for custom sizes). Performance characteristics include low frequency drift vs. temperature, high Q range of 200-800, sharp frequency response and low radiation. The inductance range is 0.28 to 3.8nH. The frequency range is 400MHz to 5GHz. Tape and reel packaging is available.

Spectrum Control, an ISO 9001 quality certified company, designs, manufactures and markets a broad line of EMI/RFI and filtered power components. Divisions include the Signal Products Group, Power Products Group and Advanced Systems Group. Components from the Signal Products Division include discrete surface mount filters, resin sealed and hermetically sealed EMI filters, EMI filtered arrays, ENII filtered connectors, filtered datacom connectors, and gaskets and shielding. This division also offers the SPECWAVE line of wireless components including monoblock and resonator based bandpass filters and duplexers, patch antenna elements, ferrite beads and inductors, ceramic inductors, chip capacitors, ceramic substrates, ceramic resonators, resonator discs, LC filters and value-added services.

From the Power Products Group, Spectrum Control offers SPECPOWER products that filter and condition power before it enters your system. SPECPOWER products include single line filters, filtered terminal blocks, power entry modules, power line filters, military/aerospace multisection filters and customer filter assemblies. The new Advanced Systems Group of Spectrum Control designs AC/DC power distribution systems and remote management systems through the building block concept, allowing for a customized product or system to suit specific requirements.
