A new line of mold release coatings for molding friction materials has been developed by Huron Technologies, Inc. of Leslie, MI. Mold Release Coatings 6944, 7123 and 7153 are formulated to eliminate many of the problems related to molding composite friction materials. Mold Release Coatings 6944, 7123 and 7153 are non-silicone, water based, dilutable concentrates.
The new mold release coatings provide fast, clean mold release for applications such as automobile and truck brake composite products.
