Easy-to-use, budget-priced Coating Thickness Meter
Fairport, New York. EBAN1000 is a new pocket-sized portable Coating Thickness Meter for industrial users who need instant measurements. Designed specifically to offer a low-cost but traceably-accurate instrument, EBAN1000 from Paint Test Equipment (UK) operates with just the touch of one button.
EBAN1000 will measure coating thicknesses up to lmm/0.040" on all non ferromagnetic coatings on ferrous substrates with an accuracy of up to 1%, conforming to ISO, DIN, ASTM, BS, & SSPC measurement methods. Calibration Certificates with traceability to NIST are available for both EBAN1000 and the Calibration Foils supplied with the meter.
Readings can be taken directly, or a surface scan can be made on coatings immediately after a coating operation to examine thickness variation. EBAN1000's back-lit LCD can be easily read in dimly lit locations, and the unit automatically switches off when not used to conserve battery life. Versions are available with Micron or Mil displays with integral or flexible electromagnetic probe, allowing for almost any measurement situation.
