Pyro-Duct 597-C High Temp Electrically Conductive Coating Now Available



SUMMARY
Pyro-Duct(TM) 597-C, a new silver-filled, high temperature, electrically and thermally conductive coating developed by Aremco Products, Inc., is now used to produce electronic and high vacuum components for applications to 1700 °F (927 °C).

FEATURES
Pyro-Duct(TM) 597-C is an advanced high temperature coating formulated using high purity silver flake combined with a proprietary conductive binder system. All constituents are electrically and thermally conductive and the electrical resistivity is dramatically better than conventional epoxy-based conductive coatings that are based on non-conductive epoxy resins. Pyro-Duct(TM) 597-C exhibits a volume resistivity of 0.0002 ohm-cm at room temperature.

Pyro-Duct(TM) 597-C is a single component system that dries at room temperature in ~1 hour and heat cures in 1-2 hours at 200 oF. A full cure at 1000 oF for 30-60 minutes is recommended for maximum electrical conductivity. In the uncured state, Pyro-Duct(TM) is easily cleaned using warm water and soap.

Pyro-Duct(TM) 597-C adheres well to both ceramic and glass substrates. Typical applications include sensors used in high vacuum systems, high temperature connectors and specialty lighting, and semiconductor components. Standard packaging is in 50-gram jars.
