Globus Bolsters Skytec Range with New Safety Gloves Featuring APG Coating Technology
LONDON,-- Globus, experts in hand protection solutions has announced the launch of four new protective gloves featuring a recently developed APG(TM) coating.
APG is a complex neoprene and bi-polymer coating designed to deliver enhanced performance when compared to standard coatings of neoprene, nitrile or natural rubber latex. In addition to excellent usability in oily conditions, the unique formulation enables a high degree of resistance to abrasion without the need for thick coated and cumbersome gloves. The resultant softer, more flexible glove delivers enhanced comfort and dexterity for the user. This in turn, greatly improves compliance and boosts safety by encouraging workers to wear hand protection for longer periods without compromising comfort and dexterity.
Most accidents occur not because gloves weren't provided but because the glove wasn't being worn when the hazard was encountered.
