Bardons & Oliver Introduces Big Bore Sub-Spindle Turning System
Solon, OH. . .Bardons & Oliver, a 117-year old manufacturer of
cut-off lathes and CNC turning machines for a variety of industrial tube and bar applications introduces its Big Bore Sub-Spindle Machine.
Designed to handle the most challenging thru-hole applications, this heavy-duty, column-style machine provides customers with the ability to process complex bar and tube components with no limitations on diameter, weight or length.
When the Sub-Spindle machine is combined with a Bardons & Oliver automatic barfeed system and a Bardons & Oliver finished part unloader, this unique system can produce finished parts with complex machining on both ends in one fully automatic operation.
The flexible 12 and 15 station turret and tooling systems are made for handling heavy cuts while at the same time holding precision tolerances. Tool heads are sized for 1.00" or 1.25" square-shank tool holders and up to 3.00" diameter boring bars.
Standard collet chuck sizes for the Sub-Spindle line range from 3.00" up to 8.50". Finished parts can be produced in lengths from 6.00" up to 30-feet long.
