CNC Tube Bender minimizes tube deformation.

Press Release Summary:

Using computer controls in place of conventional mechanical components like rolls or bending dies, CNC Tube Bender produces complex bending angles and radii. Users have flexibility to produce angles of over 270°, large-radius bending, spiral-form bending, and other configurations to meet customer requirements. Available in 3 models, machine produces tube diameters from ¾ to 2 3/8 in., making it suited for outdoor and office furniture and stair railings.

Nissin Introduces a Faster, More Flexible, Highly Economical CNC Tube Bender

BUFFALO GROVE, IL, MAY 22, 2007 - A new CNC Tube Bender from NISSIN has revolutionized the process of bending tubes by using powerful computer controls in place of conventional mechanical components like rolls or bending dies to produce even complex bending angles and radii.

The NISSIN CNC Tube Bender, offered by North American distributor KGK International Corp., eliminates the costly, and time-consuming replacement of dies to produce new bending angles and radii from part-to-part by instead using CNC controls. Now, the machine's operator can quickly, easily and accurately establish a completely new part program with just the push of a button. Users now have the flexibility to produce angles of over 270°, large-radius bending, spiral-form bending and many other configurations to meet fast-changing customer requirements without the time and cost associated with mechanical component changeover.

By comparison to most mechanical tube benders, the NISSIN Tube Bender is particularly fast and agile, and capable of producing a bend with significantly better quality and surface finishes because of a patented design that minimizes tube deformation that can occur with conventional benders.

The NISSIN Tube Bender is available in three models to produce tube diameters from ¾" to 2-3/8" (5/16" with optional attachment), making it ideal for a wide variety of applications, including outdoor and office furniture, architectural features such as stair railings, and many others encountered day-to-day by contract benders and metal fabricators.

KGK International Corp. is a leading North American importer/exporter and distributor of advanced manufacturing machinery between Japan and the United States and Canada, and headquartered just outside Chicago, IL.
